Called Joe's this morning and was immediately invited in for a well needed haircut. Andrew was working alone and did a fantastic job, both with the haircut and straight blade shave which felt awesome. My face feels smooth as silk. He's professional, great conversation, and then we went in for the ear and nose wax which I thought would hurt like hell. Not the case. He performed the applications quickly and efficiently and to my delight, they were painless. Joe was on vacation so Andrew was alone and he did hid job on me exactly how I like it and quickly took in the next customer. I highly recommend this barbershop for men who want a great cut for a great price and excellent service.

Just had the best experience at Joe's with my 1½ year old son. Eli was excellent with my squirmy little guy - immediately knew what I was asking for from my embarassingly vague description and quickly took him from a long matted mess to looking great.

Joe, Eli, and the young man whose name I've forgotten are remarkably consistent in the quality of their cuts (I've had multiple fade cuts by each of all three of them), fast, and reasonably priced. It's a clean shop and great company while you're there. Exactly what one would expect and even hope of a men's barber shop. Adequate seating for waiting, a washroom and a tidy and clean environment. It's well worth going to even though I live a few neighbourhoods away. Cash only though, bring cash.

I got a men's haircut today: short on the sides, shortened on the top, trimmed above the ears, and tapered at the back. A young man cut my hair using mainly scissors, with an electric razor to take care of the final touches. He was quick, efficient and it took about 15 minutes. I went on a light-raining Saturday at 4:00 pm and I was probably out by 4:20 pm -- there was no wait time for me. Two barbers were working, with possibly a third at hand (who greeted me kindly as I came in). The cost was $25 and I was happy with the result. Editor note: I truly miss Ernesto Falbo and Guerino Turano (Gary) from Ernesto's Barbershop in the Glebe where, I went for decades. Not only did they do a masterful job (including always using warm shaving cream and a blade on the back of the neck and sideburns), but the Italian chit-chat during the visit ... oh, good old days ... :)

Who you gonna call? Eli [Scissorhands] ✂️ at Joe’s Barber Shop. I called at 10:35AM and was in the chair by 10:50AM. Efficient, friendly, and no fuss. I used to pay $80 at a salon for a pixie cut — now I pay $25 (+ tip🤌🏻) and love the results just as much (maybe even more 🤫). Eli knows how to shape and style women’s short hair with confidence and skill. My salt & pepper pixie has never looked sharper. I’ve been back three times and won’t be going anywhere else. Highly recommend for any woman with short hair who’s considering a barber over a salon — do it. You won’t regret it. 🙌🏻
